See this big tree? This last Friday (6-29-12) we had to have a professional tree service come over and take down this grand old tree. Wendy and I were so sad, because it provided so much shade and beauty to the property. Unfortunately it was a bit too close to the house and one year ago two large branches came down and smashed up our gutters and one of our vehicles during a storm. At least we both got to say good bye.

Karebear, can't wait to come over and see the place now that the tree is gone. It was a very nice tree, and I bet the birds and squirrels will miss the bird feeders, but at least you girls don't have to worry about the falling branches doing some damage.
